We’re a small, home-based breeding program in Southwest Florida dedicated to producing healthy, well-socialized French Bulldogs through transparent, responsible practices. Our dogs are health tested through the OFA and bred with intention, not volume.
Our puppies are raised by hand, right in our home, from day one. That means we know each puppy’s personality inside and out before they ever meet their new family. They’re not kennel-raised. They’re couch-raised, spoiled rotten, and loved on daily.
Health Above All Else
At Paradise Coast Frenchies, we don’t breed dogs that haven’t been health tested. Period.
Our entire program is built on the GRCH Lilac Haze Bendrix bloodline, a lineage with over 45 health-tested offspring scoring OFA “Good” hips or better, including the rare “Excellent” rating. Every dog in our program undergoes OFA certification and comprehensive DNA testing before they’re ever considered for breeding.
We believe in full transparency. Our dogs’ health results are publicly verifiable on the OFA database. We don’t ask you to take our word for it. We ask you to check for yourself.
What We Test For
- Hips (OFA radiographic evaluation or PennHIP)
- Patellas (luxating patella screening)
- Cardiac (heart evaluation)
- Eyes (CAER exam)
- Tracheal Hypoplasia (narrowed trachea, common in brachycephalic breeds)
- Spine Radiographs (vertebral anomalies)
- Cystinuria Type 3 (specifically through PennGen)
- DNA Panel (JHC, CMR1, HUU, and more)
Why It Matters
French Bulldogs are predisposed to several genetic and structural health conditions, including hip dysplasia, patellar luxation, cardiac disease, spinal disorders, and brachycephalic airway syndrome. Responsible health testing doesn’t eliminate all risk, but it dramatically improves the odds of producing healthy, happy puppies who will be part of your life for years to come.
